Microsoft 365 & Azure Management

Your Microsoft 365 tenant and Azure environment, owned by specialists, documented and kept secure, so settings don't drift and changes don't surprise you.

Abstract tenant map: the InnerCore core with Microsoft 365 services and Azure workloads as orbiting nodes.

What you get

  • One accountable owner for your tenant.
  • Healthy identity sync between Microsoft 365 and your directory.
  • Devices and policies managed centrally.
  • Azure in your own tenant, billed by Microsoft directly to you.

The work

Microsoft 365 and Azure change constantly, and settings drift unless someone owns them. We monitor and administer your tenant, keep identity sync healthy, manage your devices and run your Azure workloads, including hosting in your own Azure tenant.

Because we're a cybersecurity company first, administration is done with security in mind: documented changes and a tenant your security team can trust. Email security and identity protection run under Security.

What's included

  • Microsoft 365 administration

Monitoring, management and the fixes that follow across email, chat and meetings, file sharing and document storage.

  • Licensing and configuration

Licensing and configuration changes handled for you, and we work with Microsoft support when it's needed.

  • Identity sync

Identity synchronization between Microsoft 365 and your directory, monitored and fixed, including two-way password synchronization.

  • Device management

Policy and device management for your laptops, desktops and mobile devices.

  • Azure operations

Virtual machines, networking, Azure backup and site failover, and cost recommendations.

  • Azure in your own tenant

We help you set up your subscription, migrate and manage it, and you pay Microsoft directly, so changing providers doesn't mean a migration.

  • Architecture guidance

Enterprise architecture best-practice recommendations as your environment grows.

Our specialists help you work out which of these your environment needs, and we build the plan around what we agree on together. Never a forced bundle.

How it works

  1. Baseline your tenant: We record where your Microsoft 365 and Azure setup stands today: admins, licenses, sync, device policies and settings that have drifted. Then we fix what needs fixing and document the configuration.

  2. Run: We handle day-to-day administration through the service desk and scheduled work.

  3. Improve: We recommend improvements as your Microsoft environment grows.

What stays yours

Your Azure workloads run in your own Azure tenant and you pay Microsoft directly, so changing providers doesn't mean a migration. Every change we make is documented, so your configuration record stays current and readable.

What changes for you

  • A tenant someone actually owns.
  • Healthy identity sync and managed devices.
  • Azure workloads in your own tenant, so changing providers doesn't mean a migration.
  • A documented configuration, so changes are deliberate and reversible.

Is it a fit?

Signs you need this

  • Microsoft 365 runs your business, but nobody really owns it.
  • Admin knowledge sits with one person.
  • Settings have drifted, and no one is sure what changed or why.
  • Documentation is thin or out of date.
  • Azure costs and workloads have grown without a plan.

Good fit

  • You need Microsoft 365 and Azure run day to day, with changes documented.
  • Your IT team wants specialists to own Microsoft administration while they focus elsewhere.

Start elsewhere

  • You need a Microsoft administrator or engineer role filled → Microsoft 365 Tech Trio.
  • Your priority is protecting email and sign-ins → Security.
  • You need a one-off migration → Projects & Migrations.

Have ready for the first conversation: roughly how many people use Microsoft 365, how many tenants you have, the workloads you rely on, what runs in Azure today, and who administers it now.

Example

EXAMPLE: illustrative only, not a real customer.

Problem

A growing firm's Microsoft 365 tenant had been set up by several people over time. Admin rights were scattered, identity sync broke without warning, and no one knew which settings were deliberate.

What we did

We baselined the tenant, cleaned up admin roles, repaired and monitored identity sync, brought devices under policy management and documented the configuration.

Outcome

One owner for the tenant, sync that stays healthy, and a configuration record the firm's leadership can rely on.

FAQs

Where does Microsoft 365 security live?

Under Security. Email Security and Identity & Access Security protect your tenant, and this service keeps it administered and documented.

Who owns our Azure environment?

You do. It runs in your own Azure tenant, you pay Microsoft directly, and we set it up, migrate and manage it.

Is Microsoft 365 backup included?

Microsoft 365 backup lives under Backup & Disaster Recovery and is added as part of your agreement.

Need a dedicated team for this role?

If you're about to post a Microsoft 365 administrator or engineer job, see the Microsoft 365 Tech Trio under Managed Role Services.

Does Microsoft back up our Microsoft 365 data?

Microsoft keeps the service running, but that isn't the same as a backup you control. If data is deleted, encrypted or changed by a compromised account, you need your own copy. Microsoft 365 backup sits under Backup & Disaster Recovery: resilience built in, with immutable, ransomware-protected backups.

Can our IT team stay involved?

Yes. We can work co-managed, agreeing who leads, who supports and who is kept informed for each activity, and writing it down.

We have an on-premises directory as well. Is that a problem?

No. Keeping identity sync healthy between your directory and Microsoft 365 is part of the service. If you have several tenants, we map them in the first conversation and scope them in your proposal.

Is this a security monitoring service?

No. This service keeps Microsoft 365 and Azure administered and documented. 24/7 security monitoring is 24/7 Monitoring, Detection and Response, and email and identity protection live under Security.
